The Online Allergist is written and edited by practicing allergists with over 35 years of combined experience. Our physicians have been certified by the American Academy of Allergy and Immunology and the American Academy of Pediatrics. They maintain active clinical practices and are keenly aware of what information is truly valuable to the allergic patient. Our physicians are also actively involved in clinical research and maintain affiliations and clinical appointments with major medical centers.
Our goal is to provide online tools to better educate allergic and asthmatic individuals and to provide resources to better manage these conditions from the perspective of practicing allergists. The information contained on this website is the identical information recommended for patients in our allergy and asthma practice. If you or your child has already been evaluated and under the care of an allergist, our intention is to reinforce the recommendations that have likely been made by your allergist with regard to environmental control, pharmacotherapy, and immunotherapy. TheOnlineAllergist is here to assist you in following up on your physician’s recommendations, and our hope is that it will lead to better clinical outcomes and overall better health.
